Oh! What a Privilege., J.N.

I have been a Christian for nine years. Once I tasted the Lord's sweetness in the meetings of the local church, I started to have a heart to love the Lord and to know the Lord. When some of the believers who cared for me while I was in high school went to the U.S. for a Christian conference (I myself am from Hong Kong), I heard from them about the Full-Time Training in Anaheim (FTTA)--a place provided by the Lord for all His seekers. So since I was 15, I had a vow before the Lord that I wanted to go there to be perfected.

Throughout my high school and college years, I found the Lord Jesus became more real to me in my experience. I enjoyed meeting with the local church in Hong Kong where the brothers and sisters loved the Lord and pursued the Lord together. So, my desire of going to the FTTA was never extinguished but rather, was stirred up more and more.

Finally the Lord brought me to the FTTA in the fall of 1998. The local church in Hong Kong supported my going financially. I have been here for more than one and a half years now. My experience in the training is, so far, the sweetest in my life. I never thought that there would be such a place as the FTTA. Every morning, I sense the Lord's speaking within me in all the Bible classes. In the afternoon, I am learning how to contact people and love people with the love of God. My life has become so meaningful and profitable. Being surrounded by so many lovers of Christ is really a great privilege! No matter what situation I am passing through, the Lord always provides one or two companions who are able to help me. Thank you Lord for Your Body.

Another thing I treasured a lot in the training is our loving and caring trainers. They are really joints of rich supply in the Body (Ephesians 4:16). I always get so much help through their sharing of their experiences of the Lord. Also, they really care for us. Although we have so many trainees in the training, our trainers know us all by name. I believe that they must have prayed a lot for us that the Lord could have a way to gain us in every way. I really thank the Lord for every one of them.

I am graduating this fall. I am sure that there are a lot of memories from this wonderful place that I will remember for eternity in the New Jerusalem. What a mercy to be able to be here for two years to gain this unsearchable Christ (Ephesians 3:8). I guess it may take me eternity to appreciate the Lord's bestowment on me.
